Working In India

Since I first went to India over 15 years ago I have been captivated by the ancient country. Full of history, tradition, colour, pattern, beautiful architecture and skill, it is such an inspiring place.

At Constance and Denny we partner with small family run studios in Jaipur. They are often female led and focused. We visit and speak with our teams continually to develop ideas for designs and new products.

Collaboration is key since the studios know and promote the traditional skills of Jaipur and are experts in the history of their art. We visit the printing studios, wood carving district and homes of our suppliers to watch and learn the process and to build long term reliable relationships so we can evolve and grow together.

We work as a team to produce work for the European market which is respectful and celebratory of the artisan skills.
