Hello, I'm Anna

Constance & Denny has long been a daydream of mine and it's wonderful to be starting this venture and sharing my love of colour and textiles.

Since studying Textiles at university, it has been a constant in my life. It started when I was working at Designers Guild where I was introduced to Block Printing and heritage textiles and from there I was hooked.

Home and the importance of it has always been key. I feel a home should inspire, reflect and energise while being functional for its inhabitants.

After having two children in London we followed the classic path and moved out to Suffolk to be nearer to my parents. We bought a beautiful Georgian house and started extensive renovation work but tragically suffered a major house fire and lost two years………

Fortunately life has a habit of taking you on new paths and after Covid we moved again… I know!…… and Constance & Denny was born.

It is a real joy to share my love and passion for traditional crafts, colour and interiors.

Thank you for joining me on this path.

Best Anna

  • Constance & Denny stocks a mixture of handmade, slow consumption (small batches) homeware.

We collaboratively work with studios in Jaipur, India to produce block printed homeware, from napkins and tablecloths to cosmetic bags and notebooks.

We strive to be sustainable by re-purposing old kantha and suzani textiles, using natural fibres; (cotton & jute) and Azo free dyes, plus recycled packaging (where possible).

Our objects may have ‘imperfections’, which we adore and want to promote.

We aim to inspire with our love of side to side pattern and colour.
